Legends of the fall is a movie directed by Edward Zwick, which was released in 1994, based on the novel with the same title from Jim Harrison.
This masterpiece, with an insane cast ( Anthony Hopkins, Brad Pitt, Aidan Quinn and Julia
Ormond), takes us on a trip through our inner selves, as it makes us think and reflect about our choices in life, and also in our philosophy.
Do you think that you’re living and acting correctly? Do you find yourself consistently asking if you’re taking the right path? If everything you’re doing follows the rules? Well, forget that.
The main character of this movie, Tristan Ludlow, interpreted by Pitt, doesn’t follow any rules,
man’s or God’s, but he’s still loved by everyone, as he’s courageous, braveful, and supports his family everytime. The fearful man, who always puts his family first, finds himself in a limit- situation, in which he has to go through an inner self trip to find strength and passion to move on, despite all he’s gone through in his life.
I don’t want to reveal the plot, because you must sense the emotion that I had throughout the movie, in order to give the deserved value to Zwick’s wonder.
I really hope that you can find some time to see this movie, because if you do, I can guarantee you that you’ll not be the same.
