Braveheart - The power of strength

In the 13th century, the Scottish were fighting for their independence, and the warrior himself, William Wallace, was leading his countrymen in a rebellion to free his homeland from the tyranny of King Edward I of England.

When he was young, his father and his brother, along with many others fighters, lost their lives while they were wishing to free Scotland.

He then fell in love with Murron, and when the English soldiers captured and killed his love, he gathered an army, and fought against the King’s Edward I army.

Unfortunately, after Wallace’s army won a fight, he was caught and brought to England, condemned to public torture and beheading. While he was being quartered, they offered him the offer to ask for Mercy, but he refused to submit to the King. As he continues to be tortured, the public asked for mercy, but Wallace didn’t say a word. In the end, the magistrate gave him the final offer to ask for mercy, and William shout out “FREEDOM”, and they ordered his death.

This really shows the power of strength that this warrior had, and I think that we all must have it, because what makes us different is the strength that we have to fight against what we don’t agree with. We must always tell what we feel and brawl against what’s wrong.

I think that everyone must see this awesome movie, starring Mel Gibson, who was also the director, because it really gives us the real idea of what’s the power of will.
